Dear Wildcat Families,

As the Principal of Jefferson Middle School, it is my pleasure to welcome new and returning families to a great year at JMS! I am ecstatic to have students back after a wonderful summer break. Our staff members eagerly await the students’ arrival. We know without a doubt that they will bring energy and enthusiasm for learning.

One of my goals for this school year is to increase our parent engagement through multiple in-person meetings such as Open House, Lunch with Loved Ones, Parent Nights, sporting events, etc. I would also like to invite all parents to reach out and become active members of our PTO. Through teamwork and collaboration between parents and staff, our students will have amazing opportunities for learning and fun here at JMS.

In order to stay abreast of all of the wonderful things taking place, please be sure that all of your contact information is up-to-date through School Status. Also, make sure that you have signed up for Power School to receive notifications about students’ grades and attendance. Finally, visit our website and Facebook site regularly for current news and upcoming events.

I’m honored to serve JMS as principal. It’s a great community where students, teachers, and parents work together to build meaningful relationships that support academic and social-emotional growth.
